The Touch-Screen of MultiTouch
It looks like just yesterday when technology started to dominate the life of human being beings. Today, the MultiTouch company specializing touchscreens has made another breakthrough. This time, the touchscreen offers another multifunction which will ease the works in offices and other establishments.
The Microsoft company as the first to advertise their Touchwall which uses also LCD screen, it looks like MultiTouch company has slapped Microsoft by bragging their newly developed multi-touch technology which uses almost the same strat. Just an itch of thought: “do you think the first has just upgraded the work of the second?”
On the other hand, it is of course much better if there are companies competing with each other with the same market and with the same product. This is avoid monopoly in the market. For this, we can say that the more business competing with each other, the better the competition. not to mention that the consumers will now have the chance to really pick the product they think is best for them.
Touchscreen is not that cheap yet, and only those who really can afford has the ability to avail such sophisticated product. The MultiTouch touchscreen is very expensive at this time and only those huge companies could be able to afford it.
According to the article written by Don Reisinger of TechCrunch, MultiTouch uses LCDs instead of projector technology, owners won’t save any money buying a MultiTouch system. The company’s 46-inch offering costs almost $16,000 with a fully-configured Linux PC to run the software, while a 46-inch display without the PC will cost about $14,700 per unit. 32-inch displays with Full HD capability cost about $8,300 with the Linux PC and almost $7,200 without it.
Well, hopefully the company could be able to lower the prices that could be affordable to all.
